Finding ways to create has always been the undercurrent of my life. Through each chapter, that creativity found various outlets, but one love stayed constant — photography. When my son was born, the importance of photos started to mean so much more to me than ever before. With each new milestone he hit, I found myself seeking ways to freeze that memory and valuing the gift of those frozen moments with each passing year.

I wish you could bottle happiness but until that mystery is solved, photos feel like the next best option. So that’s what I aim to do. I try to foster joy. I want our sessions to be filled with giggles and snuggles and love so that when you look at them, you’re transported to the way it felt in the season that you’re in. Sometimes that has some chaos, often some exhaustion, but more than anything, love.

I know that life is busy and sometimes carving out the time to get photos taken can feel overwhelming. Even as a photographer, getting my own family’s photos booked and outfits selected is a daunting task…but that’s what I’m here for! I try to make it easy from booking to gallery delivery. I do my best to take away as much stress as possible — assisting with location, outfits, and doing my best to tailor your session to your family’s energy.

A session with me is the session you want — maybe that is a flowy dress with a jawdropping mountain backdrop or maybe it’s jeans and a tshirt at a nearby park. There is no right location or right style for every client — there is just the right session for YOU and your family. We’ll work together to find what that magic recipe is for your family and I’ll be there every step of the way.

My goal is to make our session so fun. I’m not afraid to be silly or sing (horribly out of tune) to get your kiddos feeling comfortable. I’ll ask you to tell me how you met, who has the stinkiest feet, and maybe even who is the most ticklish. My ask is that you bring that same energy. Come ready to play and make memories. Don’t be afraid to be silly in front of me — to show affection and let down your guard. I want photos to be a time that you all just enjoy being together so that when you see those photos on your wall for years to come, the memory comes alive and brings a smile to your face.
